Zebra DS4678 Versions
The Zebra DS4678 series consists of professional wireless 2D barcode scanners for retail, hospitality, logistics and other applications requiring fast and reliable data capture. Available configurations combine Bluetooth 5.2 BLE, OCR functionality, a removable 2500 mAh battery and rugged IP52 protection.
The range includes Standard Range (SR) and DPM configurations. Scanners are also available standalone or as complete USB kits with either a Standard or Presentation Charging/Transmitter Cradle.
Standard Range (SR)
DS4678 SR configurations are designed for general-purpose 2D barcode scanning at standard working distances. They are suitable for product labels, POS workflows, mobile applications and other processes involving conventional printed or digital barcodes.
DPM configurations
DS4678 DPM models support Direct Part Marking, allowing codes marked directly onto components and materials to be captured. This makes them suitable for manufacturing, component identification, technical service and traceability applications.
OCR functionality
The DS4678 supports OCR for capturing text data in suitable applications. This allows the scanner to support workflows involving document or identification data in addition to conventional barcode capture.
Bluetooth 5.2 BLE
Bluetooth 5.2 BLE provides modern wireless connectivity with compatible computers, POS systems, tablets and other host devices.
Removable 2500 mAh battery
All listed configurations include a removable 2500 mAh battery. The replaceable design allows a depleted battery to be exchanged when required, helping to minimise downtime.
Scanner-only or complete USB kit
Both SR and DPM versions are available as standalone scanners. Complete USB kits are also available and include a USB cable and Charging/Transmitter Cradle.
Standard or Presentation Cradle
USB kits are available with either a Standard or Presentation Cradle. The Presentation version is particularly useful at workstations where the scanner needs to be picked up and returned frequently.
