The Elo 23L Series (models such as 1523L and 1723L) are built for heavy duty use in POS, hospitality, public terminals, and kiosks. Available in 15″ (38.1 cm) for the 1523L and 17″ (43.2 cm) for the 1723L, both with a 4:3 aspect ratio. They feature LED backlighting and offer a choice between SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) zero-bezel touch or PCAP multi-touch with support for 10 simultaneous touch points. Typical brightness is about 215-250 cd/m², contrast around 800:1, and viewing angles of roughly 160° horizontal and 140-160° vertical.
The stands are height adjustable and tilt, and can be removed for VESA mounting (wall or pole). The design includes internal cable management, spill-resistant sealing for protection against liquids and dust, and side controls with lock-out option (OSD / power). Built-in speakers provide audio. These monitors are made for reliability, with durable front-glass surfaces resistant to dirt and scratches.
